Recently I've been watching movies. I normally don't watch that many movies because I can never find any. (we don't have video stores and I don't have Netflix or anything) But I have seen a few even with these limitations.
- Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted
- I went with friends and we had lots of fun. It's nice to see something only for the enjoyment and laughter it produces from people.
- The Stanford Wives (2004 edition)
- I saw this one out of curiosity. I saw the cover somewhere and thought "Hey why not?" I actually thought the movie interesting. I had no idea what it was about or what would happen.
- Juno
- I'd always wanted to see it. The trailers never did it for me though. I wasn't sure I would like it. Turns out I did like it and was pleasantly surprised. The ending was beautiful.
- Tomboy (is a 2011 French film directed by CĂ©line Sciamma)
- Now this one I found while cruising through YouTube looking at random trailers. It was a different style then what you normally see. I thought it realistic. "The atmospheric and subtle tale about identity, coming-of-age, friendship, family and young love" (Sindre Kaspersen)
- DragonHeart
- This movie was recommended to me by a friend. I love fantasy and history, although this tale wasn't historically accurate or physically either; I liked it. Dragons will always fascinate me and men in chain-mail are SO COOL!
- Brotherhood of the Wolves (Le Pacte des Loups)
- I watched this french movie with my brother. We needed subtitles because he doesn't understand french. I liked the whole government secret about a giant man eating wolf attacking lower class citizens. They're was nudity but I looked passed that and enjoyed the story.
- 21 Jump Street
- My art teacher let us watch this right before exams. I laughed so hard. This movie doesn't make you think or teach you much but it was funny in a roadrunner and coyote way.
These are the movies I can remember watching recently. I know they are random and don't fit together but I watched them and enjoyed myself.
Hopefully I won't abandon this blog for another two months.
See ya!
